The Octavia Course was designed by Dr Daniel Keown who holds dual degrees in Western and Chinese medicine.

The Octavia Course does something unique, it combines the Western understanding of how the body works within the Chinese model of The Six Divisions. We organise your understanding into the Six Divisions, and in the process you intuitively understand all the Western concepts as well. The net result is you can learn incredibly complex Western medicine, effortlessly, simply by understanding how it fits into the Six Divisions.

In this way you only have to learn one thing and then you understand the whole lot. As well as this there are two very important bonuses.

Firstly, it is super easy to understand and remember. You just have to remember six main parts of the body, the divisions, and how they behave and what they do.

Secondly, this understanding makes the practice, and most importantly, succesful practice, of acupuncture much much easier!
